今年の5月は例年に比べて暑い日が多かった印象があります。工場や事務所の中で仕事をしている社員の皆さんも暑さ対策をして下さい。しかし、今朝は上着を一着羽織る必要があるくらい涼しくなりました。例年の今頃は今朝のような気温だったように思います。会社の近くの山の青葉がとても美しい。この季節ならではの景色を愛でつつ、体調に気を付けながら仕事をして欲しい。ところで、従来は6月1日がユニフォームを冬服から夏服に変える「衣替え」の日でした。最近は、春でも暑い日があるので、すでに薄着を着ている人もいます。気温の高低差で体調を崩さないようにしましょう。
「衣替え」
日本では、明治維新で新暦が採用されました。時の政府は夏服を6/1～、冬服を10/1～着用するように決めました。この時以来、制服のある会社や官公庁、学校などでは、この日を目途に衣替えを行っているそうです。しかし、普段着はどのタイミングで衣替えをしているのでしょうか。調べてみると、最高気温20℃を境目に衣替えが行われているようです。つまり、5月上旬から衣替えが始まっていたのですね。

In Japan, a new calendar was adopted in the Meiji Restoration.
The Meiji government made it a rule to wear summer clothes from June 1 and winter clothes from October 1.
Even now, uniformed companies, government officials, and school children are changing clothes according to these rules.

As far as I have investigated, it seems that KOROMOGAE is being performed at the boundary of the maximum temperature of 20 ° C. In other words, changing clothes began in early May.
